Sandra Bullock's 'picking up the pieces' as 'world torn apart' over partner's death

Sandra Bullock’s world was ‘torn apart’ after her long-term partner, Bryan Randall, passed away suddenly last month after a secret battle with ALS.

The Hollywood couple first met in 2015  after the model-turned-photographer was hired to photograph her son, Louis’ birthday party. The celebrity stars kept Bryan’s secret battle with ALS out of the spotlight for six years, until his tragic death earlier this month.

Sandra Bullock ‘picking up the pieces’ after Bryan’s death

Sandra has always been private about her personal life, however, a source told Radar Online, that she ‘has to be strong’ after the photographer’s tragic death.

“Sandra was there at every stage for three years; she knew his death was coming, but that didn’t make it easier, the source revealed.

“She’s heartbroken and still in shock that Bryan is actually gone. It’s a very difficult time. Her world was torn apart, and now she has to be strong and pick up the pieces.”

The Oscar-winning movie star is a mother to two adopted children, son Louis Bullock, and daughter Laila Bullock. Bryan also had an older daughter Skylar, from a previous relationship.

The couple were together by the time Sandra adopted the youngest, Laila, as the source told the publication: “Sandra truly thought she’d never trust a man again. But Bryan gave her purpose. He opened her heart and helped Sandra heal.”

Sandra plans to scatter Bryan’s ashes at sea

Earlier this week, it was reported that the Academy Award Winning actress plans to travel to the Bahamas to scatter her late partner’s ashes.

Although the couple were never married, it was previously reported by The Daily Mail that the two ‘exchanged vows’ on the luxury island in 2017, three years before his diagnosis.

A source told the publication that the place was “so special to them”.

“They would take over the entire island so they could just be themselves. It was a place where they shared some of their happiest times together and with the kids and friends.

“They would go there for weeks at a time. It holds a lot of meaning and it just makes sense for that to be where she says goodbye to him,” the source concluded.
